Description
The SDS Diamond Burr BC Series features a spherical cutting head with a specialized safety shoulder collar positioned at the neck of the bur, just below the working head. This collar acts as a depth stop, preventing inadvertent over-insertion and protecting soft tissue during cavity entry. Available in Standard (Blue) grit, the BC Series delivers the familiar ball bur cutting geometry with a built-in layer of clinical safety.

Directions of Use
1. Standard (Blue) grit is recommended for all BC Series applications. 2. Seat the FG shank in the high-speed air rotor handpiece. Operate at 150,000-300,000 RPM with water coolant. 3. Position the bur perpendicular to the tooth surface at the intended entry point. 4. Apply gentle apical pressure and allow the collar to function as the natural depth stop. 5. Do not force the bur beyond the collar level as the collar defines the intended maximum insertion depth. 6. Autoclave after use. Replace if collar or spherical head shows wear or deformation.
