Description
The SDS Diamond Burr FO Series features a flame-shaped working head with a tapered body and a rounded pointed tip, widely employed for lingual reductions, occlusal adjustments, buccal groove finishing, and angular margin beveling. The flame profile provides dual-surface cutting capability, using both the tapered lateral surface and the rounded tip for different aspects of the same preparation in a single bur pass.

Directions of Use
1. Select grit: Black (SC) or Green (C) for bulk lingual and buccal reduction; Blue (S) for standard prep; Red (F) or Yellow (EF) for surface finishing. 2. Seat FG shank in high-speed handpiece. Operate at 150,000-300,000 RPM with water coolant. 3. Apply the lateral surface of the flame for broad surface reduction; use the rounded tip for groove access and bevel creation. 4. Use short, overlapping strokes along the lingual/buccal surface for uniform material removal. 5. Apply light intermittent pressure and avoid sustained contact at any single point. 6. Autoclave after use. Discard if tip geometry or lateral diamond coating shows wear.
