The SDS Diamond Burr CE Series is designed to create deep, smooth, and precisely defined chamfer margins at the gingival level during crown preparations. The CE profile incorporates a specific tip angle that simultaneously reduces the axial wall and defines a rounded chamfer margin in a single fluid movement, reducing preparation time and improving margin consistency. Directions of Use
1. Complete bulk axial reduction with a coarser bur series before switching to CE Series. 2. Seat FG shank in high-speed handpiece. Operate at 150,000-300,000 RPM with water coolant. 3. Position the CE tip at the planned gingival margin level. 4. Move the bur cervico-occlusally in a smooth sweeping motion to define the chamfer in sequential segments around the preparation circumference. 5. Use Yellow (EF) for a final pass to smooth and refine the margin before impression. 6. Autoclave after use. Replace when chamfer tip geometry shows wear or rounding.
