Description
The SDS Diamond Burr EX Series is a collection of specialised and proprietary shapes that fall outside standard bur geometry categories. EX Series burs feature multi-radius profiles, extended-length shanks, curved working ends, and other non-standard geometries engineered for specific clinical challenges. Each EX shape is designed to access and prepare areas that are difficult or impossible to reach with conventional bur geometries.

Directions of Use
1. Identify the required EX shape number based on the specific clinical situation and target tooth geometry. 2. Seat FG shank in high-speed handpiece. Operate at 150,000-300,000 RPM with water coolant. 3. Approach the preparation site as indicated by the specific EX shape's intended orientation. 4. Use gentle controlled pressure appropriate to the bur's profile and avoid forcing non-standard geometries against hard resistance. 5. Use coarser grits for initial access and switch to Fine or Extra Fine for finishing. 6. Autoclave after use. Discard if any portion of the multi-radius geometry is chipped or worn.
